Most CEOs want to ramp up hiring in 2024, but there are some big roadblocks

American CEOs are confident in the U.S. economy, and they plan on hiring more over the course of the next year. About 87% of CEOs at larger companies say they are confident in the growth prospects of the U.S. economy, and 78% are confident about growth at their own companies.
