    Summary

    The Human Resource Generalist is the link between our employees and managers. You would be the point of contact for HR related questions. You will be responsible for a variety of different tasks as processing our payroll, interview candidates, help on-boarding new employees, organizing employee surveys and draft job descriptions.

    You will be will be in the unique and exciting position to further develop our HR processes and policies in order to attract ideal candidates in our open and forward-thinking culture.

    Reason why role exists

    The purpose of this role is to help us to develop our organization while we are growing and draft policies which help us prepare for the future. Equally important to this role is to process re-occurring tasks in a timely fashion. In this role you will actively work on our employee handbook, help organize company events and process payroll on time. Your contribution will help increase employee retention.

    Areas in which you must produce results

    Your primary responsibilities are:

    1. Develops HR processes
    2. Processing Payroll
    3. Planning and developing of our personal strength and skill level

    Areas in which you must exercise control

    You must ensure that:

    1. Maintaining correct employment records (ie. Salaries, Wages, PTO days )
    2. Review and updating employee handbook
    3. Organizes training (ie. harassment) and keeps records of it
    4. Recruiting, interviewing and onboarding new employees
    5. Work with ADP WorkforceNow
    6. Attend and participates in disciplinary meetings as well as terminations / exit interviews
    7. Maintain and schedule ongoing training
    8. Review of corporate benefit plan
    9. Research about compensation competition
    10. Organize employee surveys
    11. Recording performance reviews
    12. File workmans comp claims
    13. Maintain online presence on LinkedIn

    • On time completion of payroll
    • Employee satisfaction
    • Employee turnover rate
    • training hour rate

    Primary responsibilities

    You are the point of contact for HR related questions for the office and warehouse staff as well as for management. You will work directly with the team leads, department managers and management to understand their goals.

    The greater proportion of your time will be spent:

    1. You will develop our HR system with and through ADP Workforce Now. You are part or the human resource planning which includes recruitment, selection, hiring and employee development.
    2. Be the point of contact for HR related questions
    3. Payroll processing
