Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the terminal area manager, manage and direct a workforce involved in receipt, storage and re-delivery of gasoline, distillate and other products. Responsibilities include organizing, planning, controlling and directing operations and maintenance activities to ensure the most efficient, safe and economical manner of product distribution consistent with customer service requirements and operating goals.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Must be computer literate and have good administrative, analytical and interpersonal skills and mechanical aptitude. Must have a valid driver’s license for the state of residence. The position entails communication with other departments, such as Product Movement, Scheduling, Business Development, Engineering and other internal and external customers and well developed written and verbal communication skills are required.
Skills Desired:
Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience:
Knowledge of terminal operations, product quality oversight, inventory management, maintenance procedures and labor relations. Knowledge of transportation, rail, pipeline and/or marine operations and Company policies and procedures is highly desirable. Special Considerations:
The incumbent is an emergency responder and is required to carry a cell phone and/or pager and to be available 24/7. The incumbent must also be open to future relocation.
