PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
This individual contributor role is responsible for designing and driving a Honeywell's Access Systems product portfolio in order to deliver a larger monetary value to the market. The mission for this role is to make 1+1=3 for our Channel Partners and End Users. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving long term organic growth in the business through the development of global NPI's. They will do this while partnering with business and functional resources to ensure that the current strategy and roadmap is being executed successfully within the portfolio.
This is a highly visible role, with clear opportunities for advancement into senior marketing, engineering or general management positions. This role will report to the Director of Product Management.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors degree (preferred in Engineering or Marketing)
• 7 years + experience in technical, B2B marketing roles
• 3 years + strong technical background within Access Controls Product Management or Product Development required
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong technical background within product management or product development required
• MBA strongly preferred
• Relevant experience with business processes for NPI (New Product Introduction) & Operations planning (SIOP)
• Knowledge and/or experience in the electronic security industry are desired.
• Clear evidence of creating new solutions or offerings through platform or product development
• Success in managing through influence and persuasion in a highly matrixed structure.
• Proven ability to think strategically and to scope tasks and set goals
• A demonstrated track record of influencing and providing insight to senior management
• Strong ability to manage external party relationships.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, results-driven organization
• Strong business-to-business analytical, financial, strategic thinking and marketing skills.
• Strong written and presentation communication skills.
• Proven customer relationship management experience.
• Proven track record executing projects and programs.
• Green Belt Certification preferred
