Job Description
•Manage projects on system platforms, implement technology vision in multiple areas, liaison role between Customers and Corporate standards, provide consulting and architectural reviews within area of expertise, and develop skills for self and peers. Provide technical guidance to various projects and participate in solution design utilizing expert knowledge of Trackwise versions 7 and 8.
•Develop processes, procedures and cost-effective technical solutions to support and improve systems. .
•Research technology solutions to meet business needs
•Interface with IT customers to understand business requirements and customer needs and assist in the development of business cases and justifications.
•Provide technical education, guidance and consulting to IT customers and team members on technology solutions, services, and standards.
•Participate in functional design review across the company.
•Lead complex technical projects supporting global technological decisions and implementations
•Prepare business requirements, system assessments, project and process assessments, and implementation documentation for technical projects.
•Install and support technical solutions and implementations with emphasis on Trackwise area of expertise
•Establish service-level metrics used to define and measure technology services.
•Establish and manage effective vendor relationships
Job Requirements
•Breadth and depth in several architectures or platforms.
•Advanced knowledge of Sparta's Trackwise including Trackwise administration
•Ability to solve complex technical and business problems.
•Ability to manage projects and interact with all levels of management.
•Experience with technical analysis, modeling and simulation a plus.
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
•Self-starter; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
•Strong problem solving, analytical and documentation skills.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
