Summary

This position is responsible for the strategic design, development, delivery, and execution of leadership development programs, processes, and services for Chubb’s leader pipeline of talent worldwide. It provides specific focus on talent review and succession processes and programs, providing tools, techniques, and consulting support across the business to ensure the readiness leadership pipeline of talent.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and ensure the delivery of programs, processes and services in alignment with Chubb’s global leadership development strategy, with a specific focus on talent review and succession processes and programs.
• Schedule and coordinate the annual Chubb Talent Review process with key stakeholders
• Manage the process of identifying and assessing potential
• Provide data, reports and other information as preparation for the Chubb Talent Review process
• Ensure development plans are created and implemented for key talent, with appropriate ownership at the local level
• Manage the updating of data to reflect current talent status with emphasis on realistic, accurate information
• Generate reports, presentations and other materials for executive management and the Board of Directors

- Evaluate, track, update and continuously improve assigned programs, processes and services.

- Understand the business and development needs of key leader segments with a focus on senior managers. Translate this understanding into programs, processes, services, and deployment strategies.

- Support the initial configuration and implementation of systems to support the Chubb Talent Review and succession processes. Support system users to ensure maximum benefit from system capabilities.

- Drive utilization and integration of major Talent Strategies processes (assessment, competencies) with key stakeholders. Support the development and implementation of these processes.

- Conceptualize and manage projects in support of leadership development initiatives.

- Design, develop, and ensure the delivery of corporate leadership development programs, processes and services as assigned, in alignment with Chubb’s global leadership development strategy.

- Identify external programs in support of corporate-wide leadership and development goals. Monitor the market for emerging practices that support Chubb’s strategies in Leadership Development.

- Manage high value, cost-effective relationships with external partners.

- Limited travel.

Qualifications

- 5+ years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist, or in talent management, learning, leadership development, or executive education.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred.

- A record of accomplishment in the design of talent management/leadership development processes and programs or a seasoned HR generalist with broad experience in talent processes in a global, matrixed organization. Specific experience with talent review processes strongly preferred.

- The ability to play multiple roles (facilitator, coach, program designer, project manager, consultant) with multiple audiences at multiple levels of the organization.

- Comfort and ability to work effectively with data and systems.

- A track record of converting leadership development theories and approaches into actionable leadership development programs and processes.

- The ability to manage high value external partner relationships.

- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills (verbal, listening, written).

- Self-starter who takes initiative and welcomes the occasion to introduce new ideas and opportunities.

- Demonstrated project management skills.

- Strong problem resolution skills.

- Business and strategic acumen.
