The Enterprise family of partnerships comprises one of North America's largest midstream energy networks, providing a variety of services, including transportation, gathering, storage, processing, fractionation and terminaling, to producers and consumers of natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil, refined products, liquefied petroleum gases and petrochemicals.


The Operations Superintendent is responsible for maintenance and reliability of gathering systems, transmission lines, and associated equipment in a geographic area. The Superintendent is also directly responsible for safety of personnel, protection of the environment, and prevention of damage to systems and equipment thorough continual promotion of safe work practices and conditions. As well as:

* Supervises/manages operations and maintenance technicians and supports them in achieving asset goals and objectives.
* Prepares and recommends annual operating budget and is responsible for cost containment measures.
* Reviews and analyzes various operating data to identify areas of lost opportunity as well as opportunities to increase reliability, optimize operations and lower operating costs.
* Works closely with the Commercial Team to maximize the profitability of the pipeline system.
* Ensures there is an organized program to minimize downtime.
* Ensures compliance with DOT, TRRC, TCEQ, OSHA and other applicable state and federal regulations.
* Oversees the planning and scheduling of underground storage piping and well head maintenance projects.
* Subject to being able to provide emergency response.



The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
* High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
* Engineering degree or equivalent Natural Gas Systems (or similar) operations experience.
* Experience managing and directing a workforce and managing a facility budget.
* Must have strong organizational skills and able to deal concurrently with a variety of projects and issues.
* Strong focus and commitment on safety.
* Adaptable to a changing work environment.
* Must live or be willing to relocate to within 1 hour of reporting location.
* Must have strong computer skills - familiar with MS Office software.
* Ability to maintain records and generate reports.
* Must have good verbal communication and written documentation skills.
* Must possess good interpersonal skills - with ability to manage direct reports.
* Self-motivation and the ability to work within a team environment.
