Hexcel is currently seeking a dynamic Staffing Director in their Stamford, CT global headquarters. The qualified candidate will be responsible for leading the following efforts:
Own the full life-cycle staffing process including developing talent acquisition strategies to hire strong talent, managing a team of recruiters, overseeing day-to-day staffing activities, managing and partnering with third party vendors and providing clients and candidates with world-class experience during the recruiting process. May act as a recruiter at times.
Manage Hexcel’s Staffing / Application Tracking System. Create dashboards to track effectiveness of staffing process. Assess system value and upgrade system as needed.
Ensure a scalable operation while working closely with management and HR team to develop innovative solutions that support the company's growth.
Develop and implement recruiting brand strategy for Hexcel.
Partner with Hiring Managers, Human Resources Managers, Candidates, Recruiters and Hexcel Leadership to gather feedback, understand needs and continuously improve process and technology.
Talent acquisition plays an essential role in fueling Hexcel’s growth. The Staffing Director will implement staffing strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool. Ensure hiring manager and team preparedness during the selection process so that Hexcel is presented as a world-class organization.
Qualifications:
· BA/BS in Human Resources or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
· Minimum 15 years professional staffing experience, ideally in corporate and manufacturing environments. HR Generalist experience, a plus.
· Track record of managing and improving global staffing processes.
· Strong Communication and Facilitation skills. Able to work across organizational lines and levels.
· Experience managing professional recruiters.
· Experience sourcing candidates through research, networking, cold-calling, career fairs, internet postings, etc.
· Global background with ability to partner with professionals from diverse locations, languages and cultures.
· Proven organizational skills with strong attention to details and the ability to prioritize, but also view big picture and develop strategy to meet company objectives.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to leverage technology.
