Clinical Staffing Coordinator

The PRN clinical staffing coordinator is responsible for performing staffing functions and ensuring that all hospitals are adequately staffed. The staffing coordinator is responsible for effectively anticipating and scheduling staffing vacancies with the clinical staff coordinators located at the hospitals. The staffing coordinator is responsible for communicating with all hospital coordinators that have open requisitions for staffing needs. Staffing coordinator must be able to communicate verbally, in writing and electronically.

This position works under limited supervision and requires strong organizational and planning skills. The staffing coordinator must maintain proper documentation in regard to the staffing functions. This position requires a certain degree of decision-making within the scope of the position's responsibilities. Must have basic data entry experience, computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company software, must be articulate and personable as well as be able to relate professionally and positively to network staff, hospital personnel, contracted vendors and associates at all levels. This position usually reports directly to the Operations Manager.Clerical Healthcare experience preferred, rotating schedule and days off hours 3:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. shifts available.
