Position Location: Kentwood, MI
Major Job Duties Include:
Responsible for leading the Human Resources activities at the US site, Bosch Emissions Systems Group LLC (BESU) in the Grand Rapids, MI area. These activities include, but are not limited to:
*Lead all Human Resources activities for BESU Kentwood site in accordance with BESU short and long term project and business objectives. *Implement and coordinate programs within the BESU organization for: Performance Management, Compensation Management, Succession Planning, Associate Development, Associate involvement and key Talent Attraction and Retention. *Resourcing talent ' Management, Professional, Logistics and Production positions, including management or organizational structures. *Training and Development, Performance Management and Associate Development. *Associate Engagement and Involvement as well as Rewarding Talent ' base and variable pay, recognition programs and benefits. *Operative and advising partner for HR topics at the location. *Implementation of local employment conditions in accordance with worldwide corporate standards and local cultural and working considerations. *Coaching and advising the local management team concerning relevant HR topics. *Understanding and applying decisions in accordance with regional and local employment laws. *Application of the corporate standard HR processes within the location. *Application of the concepts of the Bosch HR Balanced Scorecard (BSC) with the location. *Develop, recommend, implement and interpret human resources policies and procedures in accordance with worldwide, regional and local standards and conditions. *Coordinate annual benefits enrollment activities. *Serve as internal consultant to the General Manager and other senior staff members of BESU regarding people and people-related process issues. *Lead change and improvement activities in the areas of associate involvement, organizational development, communications, organizational affiliation, etc. *Provide assistance and guidance to associates and managers on human resources issues including, but not limited to: associate relations, compensation, training, staffing, etc. *Participate in the HR department, overseeing spending within budget. *Manage and coordinate activities to complete annual federal reporting for required Affirmative Action Programs.
Minimum Job Requirements Include:
*Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field. *Minimum of 5+ years HR generalist experience, a portion of which should have been in a manufacturing setting. *Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. *Problem solving and coaching skills. *Thorough knowledge of associate relations, FLSA, and FMLA. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Desired:
*Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field. *Experience within a joint venture, matrix organization and/or with mergers and acquisitions. *Experience working in a large multi-national organization. *Basic financial knowledge and good overall business knowledge. *Project Management *PHR or SPHR Certification. *SAP knowledge
