Sr HR Generalist
Title: Sr HR Generalist Location: United States Other Locations: Basic Job Function This position works as a team member within the Human Resources function and in a business partner environment to provide top-level service to our internal customers. The incumbent is responsible for providing HR generalist support to an assigned client group.
This position interacts with the management team to recommend solutions and address business needs.
Accountabilities Acts as a resource and counsel in all aspects of human resources (i.e. organization development & design, employee engagement & satisfaction, talent management & training, employee relation management, communication & advocacy and staffing) * Partners with the business to support the client's needs and objectives * Provide innovative and sound recommendations in support of a business unit's human resource planning, needs and challenges * Collaborates with business clients to address employee relations issues providing support and guidance in accordance with LexisNexis practices. * Serves as an employee advocate to help identify and define problems and issues and work with leadership to develop solutions that support company values and employee satisfaction * Participates in various HR department related projects or initiatives as assigned * Supports talent management process and practices across client group * Conducts exit interviews and analyzes data and makes suggestions for improvements that benefit employee satisfaction. * Work collaboratively with Compensation Representative to review requests for new positions or reclassifications, recommends ranges, finalizes job descriptions, and assists with creation of salary ranges for the position as required. * Ensure consistency and equity in human resources program administration (i.e., compensation, career development, etc.) * Responsible for recruiting for assigned client group (s) including establishing plans to source, attract and retain employee talent * Identify develop and deliver human resource training and development needs for an assigned client group * Participate in the development of effective communications concerning human resources policies, procedures, programs and activities.
This position can be homebased.
1. Bachelors in Business or HR Required or equivalent experience 2. Masters in Business or HR preferred or equivalent experience 3. 3-5 yrs HR related experience 4. PHR/SPHR (Professional in Human Resources/Sr. Professional in Human Resources) Certification Preferred 5. Training & Development including design, development and implementation 6. Employee relations with a working knowledge of employment laws 7. Recruitment and selection including workforce planning and staffing 8. Performance management and conflict resolution. Non-routine and emergent issues 9. Compensation and Benefits including equity analysis, job analysis, job design and overall compensation strategy
