Within this context, we help our clients:
Assess competitiveness of current pay and program features relative to the market and to the organizations specific circumstances
Design short-term and long-term incentive programs that reinforce strategic objectives
Design financial performance measurement and target setting systems to support these incentive programs and to align the executives with the shareholders in the case of publicly traded companies
Assess the implications of equity incentive programs, including financial cost and dilutive impact
Establish/modify processes for corporate governance in light of best practice, shareholder concerns, etc.
Stay abreast of legislative and regulatory developments and their implications
Responsibilities of the Position As a Senior Consultant you will have several roles, including project manager, technical specialist, client advisor, business developer, and staff developer. Responsibilities will include: Generating revenue through development of new client relationships Structuring, directing, reviewing, and interpreting analyses performed by the project team Structuring and/or reviewing client deliverables Providing guidance to team members Providing consulting services to Compensation Committees and/or senior management on a variety of remuneration issues, including competitiveness of pay and benefits, performance measurement, and governance and regulatory implications Providing consulting services on broader Human Capital issues Managing multiple projects simultaneously Building and maintaining strong client relationships Developing, evaluating, and mentoring less experienced colleagues
Minimum of eight years experience in finance or finance-related consulting (with specific experience in executive compensation) or executive compensation in a large corporate environment
MBA preferred
Experience working with leading public and private companies in a variety of industries consulting on compensation strategy development, competitive pay evaluation, pay/performance links, incentive program design (annual and long-term), equity strategy, change in control planning, mergers and acquisitions, board compensation and other issues
Excellent analytical, writing and presentation skills
Strong finance and accounting skills
Proven project management skills and creative problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
