The result is responsible executive remuneration plans that secure key talent, enhance business performance, and stand up to external scrutiny.
Within this context, we help our clients:
* Assess competitiveness of current pay and program features relative to the market and to the organization's specific circumstances * Design short-term and long-term incentive programs that reinforce strategic objectives * Design financial performance measurement and target setting systems to support these incentive programs and to align the executives with the shareholders in the case of publicly traded companies * Assess the implications of equity incentive programs, including financial cost and dilutive impact * Establish/modify processes for corporate governance in light of best practice, shareholder concerns, etc. * Stay abreast of legislative and regulatory developments and their implications
Responsibilities of the Position
As a Senior Consultant you will have several roles, including project manager, technical specialist, client advisor, business developer, and staff developer. Responsibilities will include:
* Generating revenue through development of new client relationships * Structuring, directing, reviewing, and interpreting analyses performed by the project team * Structuring and/or reviewing client deliverables * Providing guidance to team members * Providing consulting services to Compensation Committees and/or senior management on a variety of remuneration issues, including competitiveness of pay and benefits, performance measurement, and governance and regulatory implications * Providing consulting services on broader Human Capital issues * Managing multiple projects simultaneously * Building and maintaining strong client relationships * Developing, evaluating, and mentoring less experienced colleagues
This position may reside in any city within the market: Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Grand Rapids, Indianapolis, or Pittsburgh.
Qualifications
* Minimum of eight years' experience in finance or finance-related consulting (with specific experience in executive compensation) or executive compensation in a large corporate environment * MBA preferred * Experience working with leading public and private companies in a variety of industries consulting on compensation strategy development, competitive pay evaluation, pay/performance links, incentive program design (annual and long-term), equity strategy, change in control planning, mergers and acquisitions, board compensation and other issues * Excellent analytical, writing and presentation skills * Strong finance and accounting skills * Proven project management skills and creative problem-solving abilities * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Ability to function well in a team environment
