Senior Cloud Product Marketing Specialist
This position is for a Senior Product Marketing position within the Cloud Services team which is responsible for the development and implementation of the strategic plan forour clients cloud services portfolio. The Cloud Services team, within our clients' Services business unit, is part of a strategic program to establishour client as an industry leader and innovator in cloud computing.
The Product Marketing position is responsible for the strategic plan for the cloud services portfolio including alliance/partner management. Analyze markets to determine opportunities. Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and objectives. Evaluates and recommends strategic adjustments to respond to changing and/or competitive markets.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities, develops strategic direction from market information and creates compelling market analysis presentations.
Analyzes business opportunities, assesses potential markets, and develops projects for use in new marketing initiatives.
Evaluates program trends and provides analysis and recommendations to management.
Works toward mutual goals and objectives to build awareness and support of overall strategic benefits of the portfolio and/or alliance.
Executes programs to assess the sales impact of the solution(s) in the marketplace and the overall success of the alliance.
Ensures alignment between our client and strategic business partners.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant industry experience, resulting in strong domain knowledge in cloud computing or relevant product planning and management experience. MBA preferred.
The chosen candidate will also need to be a strong, adaptable and results-oriented leader who consistency demonstrates unprompted initiative. He/she will be able to understand the unique dynamics and fast pace of Dell's business and culture. The successful candidate will employ an analytical approach and be comfortable supporting initiatives with data and metrics. He/She will have demonstrated a strong ability to dissect complex problems, understand how issues interrelate, and generate alternatives and preferred solutions
The ability to work with and influence cross-functional organizations as it relates to the implementation of the program. Broad understanding of customer verticals' needs and associated IT service consumption patterns. Ability to influence development of business processes to enable sales and delivery of service offerings.
