Sr. Account Executive
Job Summary:
Our industry leading technology client is currently seeking Senior Account Executives in the following markets: Chicago, IL, Orlando, FL, and Louisville or Lexington, KY. Ideal candidates must possess a proven track record of successful sales performance and verifiable experience in a hunter/cold calling environment. Also, candidates must reside within one of the territories listed to be considered. The candidate will be responsible for:
- New business development through solution selling and strategic relationship selling
- Managing opportunities through a 6 to 9 month plus sales cycle
- Effective pipeline management and utilization of a CRM system to track sales opportunities
- Creating and delivering sales presentations to key decision makers up to and including C-Level executives
- Negotiating pricing and contract terms and coordinating a project team to ensure the customers’ needs are being met
In return our client will offer an attractive compensation plan with base salary and uncapped commissions. A home office will be provided complete with smart phone, laptop, multi-function printer, corporate credit card, and mileage reimbursement.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess 5 or more years of B2B sales experience in a strategic (non-transactional) sales environment
- Must have experience dealing with F1000 and F500 companies
- Must be able to bring an already established network to leverage selling in the B2B, Restaurant, Retail, and/or Lodging verticals
- Must be open minded and able to handle diversity
- Must be comfortable selling with a long sales cycle in the 6-9 month plus range
- Must be self-motivated, bring a fire in the belly, and a passion to be the best every day
- Must be able to work with little supervision as this is a remote, home based position
- Must be technically savvy, able to communicate with C-Level contacts, and organize a daily plan to ensure deadlines are met
- Must be able to build and leverage strong relationships with strategic business partners
- Must be aggressive yet diplomatic
- MUST BE A HUNTER/CLOSER not a FARMER
