Overview:
The Senior Web Designer conceptualizes and executes designs for homepage and email campaigns, special events mini-sites, and special seasonal/brand shops.
Key Accountabilities:
Continue to elevate the design aesthetic on while maintaining alignment with national brand.
Brainstorm with design and copywriting peers.
Interface with project managers and coders to deliver work on schedule.
Collaborate closely with buyers to translate merchandising strategy into compelling creative.
Collaborate with photo art directors on homepage shoots.
Attend company strategy meetings and contribute to setting creative strategy
Skills Summary:
4-6 years of web design experience is required. .
Proficient in PhotoShop, Image Ready, Illustrator, and Flash on the Macintosh platform.
Bachelor's Degree (or comparable work experience).
Experience in a web-related environment is necessary.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills, thorough attention to detail.
Ability to meet tight deadlines, while working both independently and as part of a team.
Retail knowledge is a plus.
