DUTIES: Perform system application design and development of web-based network using JAVA, HyperText markup language (HTML), C++ and Oracle; manage and support development team in system and software engineering of software applications; supervise, install and configure Weblogic application servers, Cisco load balancers and network switches; perform tuning and patching Oracle databases and develop application standards, monitoring and tuning of Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) application; maintain proper staffing levels, allocate resources, and supervise team’s daily operations; develop action plans to improve performance; evaluate individual performance; monitor budget management, allocate capital and expense funding; coordinate, evaluate and partner with technology vendors; act as main contact with other organizations to identify and quantify business issues; and develop and implement business strategy, and manage enterprise-wide, multiple applications and system development projects.
REQUIREMENTS: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic, Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering followed by two years of experience in application design and development of web-based networks using JAVA, HyperText markup language (HTML), C++ and Oracle.
