This person will lead the recruitment and talent selection process for positions in our Orange, TX plant.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead all aspects of full life cycle recruiting including defining a recruiting strategy, assessing external/internal candidates against job profiles, and applying behavior based interviewing techniques to assess for knowledge and cultural fit.
Utilize research techniques such as direct sourcing (competitor, directory, internet), data mining, and networking to identify and qualify candidates in a timely, cost effective manner for current and anticipated opportunities with INVISTA.
Gather, analyze, and present marketplace data related to the labor market, competitors hiring trends, new sourcing avenues, etc.
Maintain effective customer management by meeting regularly with Hiring Managers to discuss their talent needs, candidates identified and in process, as well as opportunities for improvement.
Build technical knowledge and selection best practices within Talent Selection Capability.
Ensure a commitment to identify and attract diverse candidates.
Provide insight and guidance on INVISTAs HR policies and procedures related to the selection process and compliance.
Ensure data management and integrity by utilizing INVISTA approved systems to track and report relevant data.
Knowledgeable about HR related laws, policies, EEO, Affirmative Action guidelines and OFCCP internet applicant regulations.
BASIC REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Administration, Marketing, HR, Finance or Engineering from an accredited university.
At least 10 years of experience in recruiting to include corporate or agency recruitment.
Experience with direct sourcing and full life-cycle recruiting.
At least 2 years of experience data mining for technical candidates.
At least 2 years of experience recruiting for a manufacturing facility/environment.
At least 2 years of experience utilizing a resume database and/or applicant tracking system.
Experience with Microsoft Office Word (i.e., creating documents), Excel (i.e., creating spreadsheets, utilizing formulas, & analyzing data), and Outlook (i.e., scheduling meeting invites & emailing).
Experience managing a recruiting department.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working with SAP and Taleo.
Experience in candidate sourcing.
Previous recruiting experience in the petroleum or chemical industry.
