Description: We are growing our Human Resources team and are seeking an experienced senior manager/director-level generalist/business partner to provide a broad range of human resources support and services to a dedicated client group. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Human Resources, the individual in this position will be one of two business partners and part of a 7-person human resources team supporting Entropic’s global workforce. The individual in this position may support international locations and may manage a mid-level generalist.

Job Description and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all of the human resources activities of his/her client group including performance management, talent acquisition, talent development, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, compensation, program roll-outs, strategic consulting and human resources projects. This individual will serve as the primary interface with his/her client group, while also partnering with the other functional areas of Human Resources including staffing, benefits, payroll, and stock administration, to tailor human resources programs and practices to best suit his/her client group.

Requirements: Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fields (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 8 years in a business partner/HR generalist role.

Candidates will have demonstrated experience and success in past roles based on three primary competencies: • Deep functional knowledge and experience in the basics of a generalist role, which means strong business partnering, employee relations and performance management experience, as well as a solid understanding and practical experience in staffing, compensation, employment law, and organizational development practices • Strong business acumen and a broad and deep understanding of their client group’s and organization’s business, which is essential to having the knowledge and context to provide advice to the client group and successfully mitigate risk, identify problems and implement solutions for day-to-day and strategic organizational issues • Exceptional personal credibility and maturity, which includes a demonstrated ability to build relationships across diverse employee base, to gain confidence and influence at the most senior levels, proven sound judgment, and impeccable professional and personal work standards

We’re looking for someone who is a good thinker, very practical and can leverage his/her experience in support of the client group by influencing better business decisions. The qualified candidate will have a track record of building strong executive, business-oriented relationships and providing strategic input, but is also capable and willing to roll up his/her sleeves to get things done. Candidates must have excellent project management skills, the ability and persistence to overcome hurdles and resistance, the confidence, credibility and willingness to provide critical feedback and lead managers and employees through difficult situations, and excellent judgment. Candidates will also have experience with administration/deployment of HR policies and practices, including interpreting, modifying and implementing corporate policies, excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong MS Office skills; experience with HR systems is preferred.
