The ideal candidate will be well experienced in a broad range of Human Resources expertise areas including recruitment and staffing, fringe benefit and compensation plan design and administration, employee relations, management counseling, and EEO and Affirmative Action.

The candidatemusthave these basic qualifications/requirements: · Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field · A minimum of fifteen (15) years diverse professional human resources experience in recruitment and staffing, fringe benefit and compensation plan design and administration, employee relations, EEO and Affirmative Action, and management counseling · A minimum of 10 years experience in managing a Human Resources Department/Group including budget development and budget management responsibility · CEBS or SPHR certification · Availability for overnight travel
Preferred Qualifications: · Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field · Engineering Consulting or professional services consulting firm experience
Job Responsibilities: · Ensure that all HR related programs adhere to current regulations and support the company’s strategic objectives · Oversee and manage three benefit and compensation professionals · Manage the overall design, implementation, communication, and administration of health and welfare plans and salary administration programs · Monitor benefit, compensation, and regulatory trends and recommend/design appropriate programs for expanding offerings or ensuring compliance with new requirements · Provide guidance and counseling to all levels of management in areas of employee relations, potential litigation, and general business practices
