Senior Generalist, Human Capital
The Senior HR Generalist Interacts with all levels and all departments within the organization and is responsible for performing staff support activities to develop, implement, and administer policies, procedures and programs, and act as a Human Resource Representative for assigned functional areas. Acts as an advisor to supervisors and managers, ensuring legal compliance and resolution of all recruitment, selection issues, and personnel actions and concerns. Counsels employees, supervisor and managers concerning work-related problems, conducts investigations and termination interviews. Interprets and implements Company's policies and procedures with all employees. Responsible for new hire orientation, including review of Company's policies and procedures and completion of all necessary new hire paperwork. Represents company at HR related and unemployment compensation hearings and investigations. Monitors performance appraisal, LOA, FMLA, disciplinary, termination and other processes for compliance with legal and company policies. Special Projects as assigned.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to the followng: BA/BS or equivalent experience (completion of two-year certificate program or three years related experience.) Experience in Human Resources, required 5-7 yrs. Thorough knowledge of employment law, EEO, ADA, and Affirmative Action.
