Senior Executive Compensation & Benefits Advisor
This position reports to the Manager, Executive Compensation and is responsible for implementation and administration of compensation and benefit plans and programs with primary focus on executive employee populations.
Responsibilities may include:
Act as consultant to executives on the company’s various compensation and benefit plans and programs
Coordinate approvals of executive new hires, facilitate pre-arrival process and provide executive program orientation
Calculate equity awards to be granted to executives, facilitate approval process and prepare notifications
Manage annual election process for compensation deferral programs
Assist colleagues with regards to resolving issues affecting compensation, leveraging prior knowledge and functional expertise
Determines appropriate data sources, works with internal and external vendors to manage process
Actively participate in projects involving compensation, including but not limited to policy reviews, incentive plan design, changes in compensation practices and systems development
Leverage technical, negotiation and relationship management skills to create, sustain and enhance interaction and influence with HR partners and line customers
Develops consistent standards relating to compensation operations in the form of policies, practices, and processes
Provides interpretation and guidance to HR on escalated matters regarding compensation programs
Coordinates legal review to alleviate litigation and financial risk
Requirements:
Basic/Required Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Bachelor Degree
5+ years experience in a corporate environment in HR, Business or Finance
5+ years experience in an analytical role
5+ years experience in a role requiring the ability to influence across multiple groups, levels, and geographies
Expert level Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong consulting, interpersonal, and communication skills
Work well independently and as part of a team; establish strong working relationships with team members, compensation colleagues across the firm, and with customers
Experience interacting with all levels of an organization including executive management up to and including CEO
Knowledge of applicable federal statutes and regulations and thorough understanding of compensation and benefits programs
Strong project management skills; ability to work well under pressure and to manage multiple priorities
Client focused, proactive, and results oriented
