In this role, you will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. In this role, you will: Essential Responsibilities * Ensure that employees have access to information and services necessary to understand and manage the opportunities presented them in the GE Employee Benefits Plans
* Serve as the representative to corporate functional counterparts as well as those in other GE businesses and other companies
* Administer FMLA and Leave of absence programs according to company policies, and state and federal regulations
* Provide a central point of contact for the collection and dissemination of information on benefits plans
* Assist all levels of employees, Human Resources representatives and management in resolving problems related to the delivery of benefits
* Provide benefits support and counsel to Union Relations and Legal regarding grievances and dispute resolutions
* Lead for process improvement programs regarding delivery of HR and management benefit training programs for all benefit plans and FMLA Qualifications/Requirements * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a human resources or benefits position)
* Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in human resources functional work, including benefits and personnel practices Additional Eligibility Qualifications GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
