Senior Account Executive - Ad Network / Tech Company

Our client, an advanced technology ad network and ad serving platform, combines the best of social, behavioral, contextual, geographical, search and other data sources to understand consumer interest and intent.  They use this technology to deliver better ROI for premium brand marketers – whether their objectives are brand-oriented or heavy direct-response.

 

We are currently assisting our client with a search for a Senior Account Executive to be based in the Chicago  office.  The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, pitching, defining, negotiating, closing and managing interactive advertising revenue from ad agencies and direct advertisers.


Responsibilities


  • Identify, pitch, and close ad sales deals with agencies and advertisers.
  • Develop strong and mutually valuable relationships with advertisers.
  • Prepare pitch materials as needed.
  • Work closely with Management/Product teams to get products specified and built.
  • Manage pipeline with CRM tools for maximum efficiency and visibility, with carefully executed follow-up to closure.
  • Define efficient operational processes to execute business, and work closely with Account Management and Operations team to see these processes turned into standard practices.


Requirements

 


  • 3+ years experience in advertising sales
  • BS or BA required & advanced degree desirable.
  • Large range of existing relationships and contacts with top-tier agencies and advertisers.
  • High degree of creativity, self-motivation, and drive.
  • Eagerness to work in a start-up team environment that will be rapidly changing.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills.
