Registered Pharmacy Tech II (PRN) IV/Meditech/TPN & 1-3 yrs hospital experience - $14.50/hr

The Registered Pharmacy Tech assists the pharmacists in the provision of Pharmaceutical Services by filling and delivering patient medication orders, floor stock, medication cart drawers; inspecting medication storage areas; preparing unit dose medications; preparing and delivering IV admixture, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition; placing orders for the purchase of pharmaceuticals to maintain inventory integrity; assists in billing functions as needed; overseeing Pharmacy Technician I activities; and other assignments to assist in the daily operations of the pharmacy.

• National certification as a Pharmacy Tech (CPhT)
• State of Florida Registration as Pharmacy Tech
• Profiency in IV admixture, Meditech & TPN required
• 1- 3 years pharmacy tech experience, hospital preferred.
• Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
