SCOPE: Uses energy and drive to recruit, screen, and hire the best and the brightest for our company. Responsible for hiring strong candidates into a variety of positions including crew level laborers, installers, drivers, accounting, administration, and management personnel. Candidate is involved with campus recruitment, relationship building, networking activities, employee mentoring plans, and employee relations and retention. The Corporate Recruiter will partner with managers to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of each Division and will deliver the best talent into the organization. The Recruiter will work to nurture relationships with prospective talent and manage on-going manager relationships. The Recruiter and training managers will work as a true contributor to the growth of the company and provide the talent that postures the company for success.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent discipline.
Demonstrated experience recruiting all levels of staff.
Strong organization skills.
Certification as a trainer or training coordinator.
Must be able to travel locally to job fairs, high schools, universities, etc.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and in depth knowledge of data mining and internet research.
Experience in general HR functions is preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.
Partner with businesses, school guidance counselors, training facilities, and military bases to assist with recruitment of full and part-time labor force.
Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units. Create and implement employment marketing strategies to attract passive job seekers.
Work with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring manager, business leaders and HR.
Work closely with hiring managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting and training process.
Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity.
Perform regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness throughout the recruitment process.
Actively participate in all staffing-related activities and engage in cross functional projects (i.e., scheduling training events, on-site recruitment fairs, etc.).
Assist with management of job postings and response to candidates.
Work with HR to develop more sophisticated learning and training tools for initial orientation into the organization and for long-term ROI.
