This position supports the Direct Sales division at the Pine Brook, NJ National Sales Center outside of Parsippany.  The Direct Sales Recruiter will deliver high quality Inside Sales Associates, Management and professional-level candidates, and advances the DISH Network brand across numerous markets and professional communities, while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the DISH Network selection process.  The main function of this position is to manage the full-cycle recruitment for various staffing needs in a telesales-based environment while maintaining excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates, and the community at-large. 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Partner with hiring managers to scope job position to gain a solid understanding of not only the skills and educational requirements, but also to determine the specific qualities and attributes of a successful candidate for the specific team.
  • Mine, source and screen candidates, interview, set-up interviews for hiring managers, administer assessments, conduct reference checks and extend job offers.
  • Continually grow the pipeline of qualified candidates through constant networking.
  • Envision and execute creative ideas to drive qualified applicant flow.
  • Strategically partner with hiring managers through manpower planning to support them in their department growth.
  • Partner with Operations to identify talent needs, talent qualifications, and develop a sourcing plan to meet staffing gaps.
  • Ensure new hire orientation goals for Inside Sales Associates are met.
  • Facilitate new hire on-boarding, including delivery of new hire orientation, benefits orientation, and other tasks.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility.
  • Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house ATS to identify and recruit the very best candidates.
  • Manage and coordinate all communication with candidates.
  • Manage the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting.
  • Contribute ideas and implement process improvements related to talent management.
  • Post and maintain position announcements to job boards, local colleges, workforce centers, etc.
  • Provide exceptional client service and full life cycle recruiting.
  • Maintain communication with external departments on relevant matters.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with both direct business partners and peripheral departments that interact with direct support groups (i.e. closely related departments, payroll, etc.).
  • Work independently on objectives while receiving minimal supervision.
  • Prepare and maintain human resources related reports and distribute as appropriate.
  • Schedule and modify priorities independently according to business needs.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of DISH Network HR policies and procedures to be able to communicate with departments on HR and Company initiatives, particularly those related to recruiting.
  • Understand and can articulate department and DISH Network corporate business goals, including financial impacts of HR actions.
  • Report recommendations and alternatives to human resources strategy to higher level managers.
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if one occurs.
  • Other special projects as assigned.

 


Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
