Responsibilities:
- Assist Public Relations and Creative Services Department with daily administrative tasks; 2-3 days a week, 9:30am-5:00pm (depending on schedule/events) - Track media placements and online/print editorial - Maintain PR closet samples - Support social media efforts; Facebook, Twitter (@VeraWangGang), Blog (Vera Unveiled), Weekly Newsletter (XO, Vera) - Assist with organization and implementation of events; Spring 2012 Fashion Week, Fashion's Night Out, line reviews, store events, etc.
Goal:
- Your goal by the end of the internship is to have a clear understanding of how the PR and Creative Services department functions on a daily basis. As a fall intern, you will be expected to communicate with your team, ask questions and take the initiative to help in all miscellaneous department needs, including answering phones/e-mails when a manager is out of the office, consistently organizing the sample closet and monitoring magazine credits.
