Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions: The Job At a Glance As a Senior Oracle Product Specialist, you will be part of CSC Consulting's elite Oracle practice - one of the industry leaders in Oracle/PeopleSoft solutions. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will lead your team in the design and implementation of PeopleSoft HCM solutions, while working with other team leads, managers and project stakeholders. This role offers incredible exposure to Oracle/PeopleSoft technologies and best practices as you enhance your functional knowledge of one or two application modules. Quick Overview of Your Job Functions
Work with the client project sponsor to deliver a PeopleSoft HCM implementation from start to finish
Lead and manage a possible team of 2 to 3 people; provide strong mentoring to build their skills
Anticipate challenges and recommend creative solutions
Apply best practices and a detailed understanding of the PeopleSoft HCM product suite to design a total solution
Strategize and execute plans to win new business from your client
Must travel 100%

Essential Job Functions
Business: Interpret requirements data, map current and future state business processes to the packaged application(s) being implemented, and develop plans to address functional gaps between the packaged application and the redesigned processes.
Business: Develop a depth of implementation experience to address multiple integration points between functions, related interface and data conversion issues, and expanded setup and configuration requirements.
Business: research and speak confidently about how other companies in the clients industry are using specific application products to improve business performance.
Methodology: Build on Catalyst and specific vendor methodology knowledge and blend methodologies appropriately to meet unique project and client needs .
Management: Lead a team of 6-10 resources (CSC, client, and third-party resources) in your area of expertise to successful conclusion of a project phase.
Technical: Guide others in the vendors programming languages and standards for interfaces and bolt-on components.
Relationship Management: Manage client expectations and balance the needs of CSC and the client to ensure satisfaction for both.
Relationship Management: Influence decisions and project direction at the executive level.
Leverage: Perform consultative selling and leverage business through superior delivery skills, good client relations, and subject matter expertise.
Leverage: Participate in proposal efforts and sales calls.
Qualifications 1. Willing to travel 100% to client projects. 2. Strong communication, presentation and client-facing skills 3. In-depth understanding of various PeopleSoft Supply HCM modules required (HR, Benefits, Payroll). 9.0 implementation or upgrade experience required. 4. Ability to provide strategic leadership and develop best practices 5. Excellent management and mentoring skills 6. Previous PeopleSoft Consulting Experience within large consulting organization (Big 4) preferred.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Six or more years of experience in business analysis and enterprise vendor product implementation
Experience working with CSC Catalyst and/or equivalent client or vendor-mandated methodology
Experience working with integrated structure of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) product environment
Experience working with how the client's current and future state business processes map to the packaged application being implemented
Other Qualifications
Strong skills in solution demonstration lab (SDL) and prototyping techniques
Strong communication skills
Ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity
Ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action, giving regard to the impact on both the client and CSC
