Job Description
As a member of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory team, you will join professionals with unparalleled financial and accounting expertise, industry insight, knowledge of business processes and technology, and customer relationship skills. Through our capabilities in these areas, we assist our clients in translating strategy into action.
PwC offers advice and support for key client issues, using technology, data services and change management effectiveness skills to provide you with the best solution. Enterprise application services we provide include the following:
• Architecture: Rationalizing a portfolio of applications from integrated systems, best-of-breed solutions, and other software implemented over the years or inherited with mergers and acquisitions • Selection: Facilitating an objective, fact-based process to weigh the most viable options for integrated systems (e.g. ERP) and/or best-of-breed, point solutions • Implementation: Assessing, designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting Oracle and SAP system components to meet business requirements • Optimization: Assessing and redesigning processes in Oracle, SAP, or other leading ERP systems
Position/Program Requirements
Knowledge Preferred:
Extensive knowledge and understanding of PeopleSoft financials based solutions. Extensive experience selling, executing and leading all aspects of complex engagements within the PeopleSoft financials product suite achieving on-time and on-budget delivery. Strong ability to work independently, develop new market-differentiated PeopleSoft solutions and lead proposal development efforts.
Extensive PeopleSoft consulting knowledge with deep experience assisting clients in the implementation and support of PeopleSoft packaged solutions and improving financial business processes.
Extensive knowledge and exposure to common issues facing clients who provide products and services within one or more of the following sectors aerospace and defense, automotive, consumer and retail, energy, industrial products, technology or utilities.
Skills Preferred:
Extensive experience and broad subject matter expertise with PeopleSoft functional configuration and development with emphasis on core financial business processes including: procure to pay, record to report, and contract to cash. Extensive experience designing, implementing and supporting complex financial business processes in a PeopleSoft environment. Extensive experience in designing, building, testing and deploying PeopleSoft financials solutions.
Thorough experience identifying and addressing client needs: developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection.
Thorough experience as a team leader: leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation.
