PEOPLE MANAGEMENT ANALYST
The Opportunity: The People Management (PM) Analyst will support the business by delivering exceptional customer service in areas such as: HR system administration, benefit administration, leave management and exit management. This person will be responsible for updates to employee data within the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) according to standardized procedures within the North American Shared Services model. This is a permanent position based out of our North York Office.
Accountabilities: - Maintain accurate records in the HRIS and notify all relevant entities when system changes are processed. - Process all employee data change requests for each employee from hire to exit. - Write queries and develop reports as needed to support over to the business. - Monitor and audit the accuracy and integrity of transactions to ensure proper interface with HR and payroll functions. - System administration for benefit enrollments, life events or status changes while coordinating with the insurance providers to ensure proper interfacing with the systems. - Create and maintain employee HR files while ensuring standardization and consistency. - Work in accordance with established agreements and key performance indicators. - Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external clients while making sure that all work is completed in an accurate, timely and efficient manner. - Continuously seek to identify opportunities for improving processes and creating efficiencies. - Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality with critical and sensitive information, records and/or reports. - Acquire a strong understanding of HR policies, legislation and the CBA as they relate to the People Management function.
Education: The ideal candidate will possess:
- A post secondary diploma in HR, Business Management or a related field
Experience: - 1 year of similar experience - Experience working with a HRIS or mainframe system would be considered an asset
Knowledge and Skills: - Ability to maintain the accuracy of data while being detail oriented - Can multitask, prioritize and organize work in an efficient way - Critical thinking and problem solving skills - Can manage changing priorities and work in a fast paced environment - Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment - Strong MS Office skills - Knowledge of HR principles and practices including HRIS administration and benefit administration would be an asset
