Clarity Consultants is looking for a Payroll/ GL Accountant Specialist to join our team at our Campbell, CA headquarters office. Qualifications: * Bachelor*s degree required * Minimum of 3 years of general ledger and payroll processing experience * Solid experience in General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Month-end and Year-end close * Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills required. * Detail oriented, strong analytical and judgmental skills, ability to detect inconsistencies in data, and ability to work with minimal supervision. * Self-starter and good time management. Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment. * Knowledge of TKO Systems preferred but not required * Proficient in ADP, Microsoft Word, ExcelResponsibilities: * Process timely and accurately G/L account reconciliations, including payroll, prepaid accounts and accruals. * Responsible for weekly and monthly close process including preparation of management reports and adjusting journal entries. * Perform monthly variance analysis of balance sheet accounts. * Prepare and analyzed financial statements in a timely manner meeting deadlines and management needs. * Review payroll journal entries and new hires setup prepared by payroll staff for accuracy. * Responsible for setup, processing, and distribution of consultant payroll and payroll adjustments in a highly accurate and timely manner. * Review consultant timecards ensuring proper posting and coding of consultant time to appropriate accounts and projects. * Maintain accurate and timely consultant timekeeping records in order to comply with labor laws and other legal employment requirements. * Participate in the evaluation and upgrade of the accounting system. * Assist in various special projects as needed What we offer: * A supportive team environment. * An established and very successful 15-year-old organization. * An entrepreneurial work environment where creativity flourishes. * Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Flexible Spending plan and other perks!Clarity Consultants specializes in the placement of Training and Development consultants on a national basis.
