Position Summary: When the Trainee has qualified as a Operations Coordinator he/she will monitor butane blending sites via a proprietary, web based operating software and identify any alerts/alarms or operating concerns. Work with company and customer operations personnel to resolve any issues. Duties include: Ownership of any identified issues and the correction of them until adequately resolved; quick and thorough response; primary contact for customers regarding operating issues; proactive communication of recurring problems or possible improvements in the system; monitoring of MTD performance vs. forecast at each blending site; provide initial customer training for blending system start-up & on-going refresher training as needed.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience; 5-7 years business experience; petroleum industry, terminals and pipelines experience; strong communications skills (verbal/written); strong interpersonal and customer relations skills; computer skills. Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts, which includes nights and days as required. Ability to pass a process management aptitude test (COBRA) is required to be considered for this position. Ability to travel 10-20% is required.
