Nurse Case Manager
Overview :
Macy's, Inc. is seeking qualified candidates for Nurse Case Manager which will be located in Cincinnati, OH.
Key Accountabilities :
Perform telephonic nurse case management on lost time claims or upon recommendation
Perform utilization review on CA and NY claims, or upon request
Meet strict timelines and requirements for UR, claims processes/review and documentation, etc.
Mitigate medical and indemnity expenditures per claim by assisting claims staff with aggressive NCM, with an eye toward proactive case management and predictive modeling
Demonstrate working knowledge of workers compensation laws in multiple state jurisdictions, particularly CA, OR, WA, FL, TX, NY, etc.
Skills Summary :
Registered nurse with 3 years of experience in clinical setting; BSN preferred
2 years of experience in nurse case management, CCM preferred
Knowledge of workers compensation and occupational injuries
Must possess excellent communication, professional review documentation, analytical and customer service skills
Must be organized, flexible with caseloads and duties and be able to work independently
Must possess basic computer skills (Word, Excel)
