Position Summary: The New Services Clinical Lead is responsible for development and delivery of the functional requirements for attaining clinical excellence in the launch of New Services into the Take Care Clinics. This leadership role will partner with the Clinical Affairs Office and the New Services team to deliver the TCHS Consumer Solutions Group New Service Strategy, develop & finalize the clinical Policy and Procedure of each new service, create detailed operational flows and coordinate with other cross-functional team members to meet New Services project objectives.
Essential Job Functions:
Acts as Clinical/Medical cross-functional lead and primary liaison between New Service Team and Clinical Operations
As the New Services Clinical Lead, works collaboratively and draws on appropriate clinical resources, internally and externally to establish key clinical objectives for each new service. This includes researching requirements, resolving issues, removing roadblocks, communicating all resource needs, integrating timelines and leading sub-teams to deliver the following:
Develop and finalize clinical policy and procedure of the new service
Create and finalize the detailed patient operational flow to deliver clinical excellence
Collaborate with the Clinical Affairs Office to develop and finalize clinical/medical guidelines and protocols to ensure quality of care
Partner with IT to develop new EMR templates/requirements necessary for new services delivery
Conduct field colleague research as an input to the design of operational patient flow and EMR process for new services.
Collaborate with New Services and Marketing to ensure that new services strategy, patient experience and demand generation strategies are reflected within patient operational flow, EMR process and clinical policy & procedure.
Work with Clinical Operations to receive ongoing field colleague feedback on new services post-launch and share findings/recommendations back to cross-functional team.
Participates in weekly New Services project launch/management meetings
Effectively influences cross functional alignment to goals of New Services department and the overall organization
Partners with Senior Manager of Clinical Education in the development and execution of new services provider education to deliver launch success
Partners with Clinical Ops leadership and Director of Quality to develop and gain alignment for policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines pertaining to any new service, ensuring that processes and technology adhere to appropriate scope of practice and ensures quality of care
Partners with the New Services team in the development and delivery of New Services Strategy, identifying innovative and creative new services for Take Care Clinics and communicating the CSG New Services strategy to our provider network
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, active RN license in current state of residence
Six (6) months prior experience working in a medical environment with patients
Preferred Qualifications:
Clinical:
Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (TCNP or TCPA preferred)
Minimum of two years of Family Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant experience working in a primary care setting preferred
Recent experience with pediatric patients (18 months and older) and adult patients required
Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience preferred
Masters degree preferred
Project Management:
Demonstrated experience with cross functional project management
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines
Excellent proficiency with technology systems and virtual facilitation
Superior presentation and communication skills (often presenting and communicating in senior management forums)
Approximately 25% travel based on need
