Kelly IT Resources has partnered with a growing and global company in the Milwaukee market that's looking to add a permanent Network Administrator.

Job Description: Network Administrator

Responsible To: IT Director

Education
Requirements: High School Diploma / College degree a plus
Previous NetworkAdminexperienceREQD
MCSE Certification preferred

Basic Requirements:

• Network and Server Management
o Maintain and monitor all servers for network availability and stability. Updates / upgrades servers as needed
o Reviews & monitors Server logs for problems and takes appropriate action
o Performs/monitors system backups and performs file restoration if needed
o Plans, designs and implements data & voice connectivity for all LAN/WAN systems
o Maintains Company Network Infrastructure documentation - keep current
o Network routers & switch monitoring & management (CLI & web interface)
o Propose pro-active solutions to keep network healthy

• Security Management
o Monitor/maintain/update corporate firewall for threats, necessary applications, URL filter management
o Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring information and network security vulnerability assessment, proactive network monitoring and protection
o Implement and manage security policies/procedures

• Active Directory Administration
o Update/maintain AD structure and continuity
o Maintain user profiles, contacts, distribution lists, security profiles
o Group Policy Management

• Virtual Machine and SAN management
o Maintain Virtual cluster environment and create VM servers as needed
o Manage SAN environment for health and performance
o Maintain Blade Server systems and rack server systems
o Manage offsite colo and SAN replication

• Email System Administration
o Setup new user profiles and maintain existing profiles
o Administer corporate email AV/SPAM Appliance
o Manage and monitor database health and notify users when maintenance is required

• File Server Administration
o Create and setup new folders on server as needed
o Monitor and maintain security levels on all shared folders

• ERP System Administration
o Maintain all ERP environments - test and production
