Mgr-HR Field Operations
Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Human Resources or Industrial Relations. Masters degree preferred.
6 years relevant experience is required; at least 3 years in a Human Resources position. Working knowledge of employment law.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with MS Office software.
Requires excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment and management skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients and all levels of management and s position performs broad professional/functional responsibilities in the areas of employee relations, benefits, compensation, staffing and other human resource functions, ensuring consistency in the administration of HR policies and practices. The incumbent manages implementation and roll out of new HR programs including (but not limited to) new hire orientation, benefit programs, compensation programs, etc.
Cultivates and maintains business partner relationship with clients. May serve as primary Human Resources contact for a call center.
Promotes high professional standards, positive interpersonal relationships, and a problem solving approach to the resolutions of employee complaints. Serves as a contact for associates and leaders regarding employee relation's issues/complaints.
Serves as an expert in documentation, and ensures that processes and changes to them are properly documented.
Ensures that matters relative to company compliance are handled appropriately and promptly received, addressed and resolved. Provides guidance to employees regarding the appropriate use of discipline or other corrective action and/or policy-practice interpretation. Provides accurate and factual information for use in litigation and EEO cases. Researches, compiles and analyzes all types of information.
Monitors Affirmative Action Plans, working closely with all locations to monitor progress toward established goals based on under utilized job groups.
Manages other HR personnel as assigned. Creates and successfully executes staffing plans.
