Job Description
Serves as the primary HR Strategic Business Partner or point of contact to approximately 500 employees and management at the Los Angeles, Van Nuys facility. Provides input and implements the HR/Talent Management strategy for the Los Angeles Plant/Van Nuys facility. Responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of HR programs to support business needs in coordination with COEs and Shared Services.
Proposes and participates in development of a course of action to support business needs.
Implements, participates in, or drives talent management process and key strategic talent management initiatives to support business needs.
Participates in the development of or implementation of BioScience or Baxter-wide HR programs/policies.
Implements and improves HR processes or service offerings to meet business needs.
Develops and tracks measurement systems to determine the impact of HR programs.
Proactively communicate HR policies, programs, and employee information.
Communicates/trains employees in the use of HR processes, systems, and programs.
Helps resolve moderately complex issues by assessing situations, pulling data to analyze issues, and making recommendations based on analyses.
Responsible for process improvements and challenging the status quo on more complex or broader issues.
Independently handles projects.
Works on complex ER issues with minimal supervision.
Advises and coaches employees and managers on development and performance issues.
May conduct training or presentations.
May mentor or supervise others.
May perform other duties as assigned.

•Minimum Bachelor's degree is required.
•5+ years Human Resources Management experience is required, at least two year in generalist role
•Must have knowledge of HR management components and possess strong conflict resolution and organizational design and development experience.
•Relevant Industry or previous Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
•PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.
