For more information, please visit Position Summary: Reporting to the Associate Director of Tides Shared Spaces, the Membership & Marketing Coordinator will help to build and support NCNs growing membership, coordinate events and conferences, manage publication production, and maintain systems to strengthen The NonprofitCenters Network. The Membership and Marketing Coordinator is an exempt position. Exempt employees are expected to work the appropriate and necessary time in order to complete key assignments and related tasks on schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Membership & Fund Development In collaboration with the Associate Director, develop and implement effective marketing and acquisition strategy to increase NCNs membership. Develop and implement a successful membership retention strategy. Maintain analysis of membership recruitment and retention metrics, along with industry benchmarks Respond to inquiries via phone, email and mail; establish the initial rapport with current and potential members, and perform preliminary screening for NCN support and services. Oversee delivery of current member benefits and develops new member benefits with other staff. Oversee production and dissemination of all membership materials, including correspondences, prospect mailings, special appeals, and list exchanges. Coordinate and processes membership applications, renewals, and expirations in a timely manner. Develop and maintains orientation packets for new members. Work with Senior Vice President to support fund development plan Event Management Develop and implement marketing strategy for NCN-sponsored events, webinars and conferences. Participate in program development and overall planning led by Associate Director Coordinate NCNs exhibits and presentations for conferences and events. Plan and manage local roundtable discussions Publications & Products Develop, write, and distribute communication vehicles directed to members and the general public (i.e., newsletter, website, social networking tools, etc.) Manage production of new resource publications, including fact sheets, guide books, and other resources. Database Management Maintain and update a highly accurate contact database, including creating new member records, updating existing records, and deleting duplicates. Collaborate with Information Technology staff on database management. Produce membership statistical reports, including reports on progress of meeting recruitment and retention goals. Website Develop and post compelling and relevant content for NCN website Work with Tides website management team to ensure NCN website is accessible and user-friendly Team Support Participate in the Tides Shared Spaces team to support the teams overall goals. Work collaboratively with Tides staff to successfully complete projects. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent project management skills; must be able to plan and manage projects both independently and with other colleagues.
