Manufacturing & Quality Curriculum Advisor 4
The Manufacturing & Quality Curriculum Advisor is a member of the Aerospace Academic Alignment Team (AAAT) and is responsible for understanding and documenting immediate and future Boeing job skill requirements. Assess existing Educational Institution curriculum for linkage to aerospace specific job skills. Identify future skill requirement educational gaps and recommend opportunities to influence existing and future curriculum. Target specific Educational Institutions to support specific jobs skills requirements as needed. Facilitate Boeing participation in curriculum development and revision activities with partner Educational Institutions. Provide manufacturing and quality technical expertise. Manage and lead project teams. The Manufacturing & Quality Curriculum Advisor coordinates with Manufacturing & Quality Skill Teams, Global Corporate Citizenship, Higher Education and STEM, and Global Staffing as needed. The Manufacturing & Quality Curriculum Advisor works closely with the AAAT strategy leaders to ensure curriculum programs align to strategies and workforce development priorities.

Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Job related information
The ideal candidate must have broad knowledge of production processes and in-depth job skill knowledge related to manufacturing jobs such as Assembly Mechanic, Assembly Electrician, Machining, Tooling, Final Assembly and Structures. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are required. Must have the ability to effectively prepare and present information to various groups. The ability to work independently or with others to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision is essential. Knowledge of event planning to develop and implement projects is critical. Expert knowledge of Manufacturing and Quality operations. Experience facilitating and leading meetings to ensure effective decision-making and program execution is required. The primary work location is negotiable within Puget Sound, WA. The Manufacturing & Quality Curriculum Advisor will need to travel frequently throughout Puget Sound and lighter travel throughout the state of Washington supporting the AAAT goals and objectives
