Manager, Leadership Education and Strategic Initiatives - Located in Mason, OH
Overview :
Manage Innovation approach and leadership education courses with the ultimate goal of improving customer satisfaction and driving sales. Provide strategic direction, plan, develop, and manage the execution of all innovation initiatives and leadership courses. This could include, but is not limited to, innovation training, leadership training, employee idea campaigns, and the overall process of identifying, developing, selling, and implementing ideas on an on-going basis and idea implementation. Proactively partner with internal and external businesses to ensure our innovation and leadership education approaches are in alignment with the business objectives. Develop metrics and methods of evaluation. Manage the planning, development and implementation of special projects as assigned.
Key Accountabilities :
Develop and manage all ideas from inception to implementation daily; this includes reviewing, researching, evaluating, responding, and implementing the ideas that will drive business results
Communicate progress of ideas submitted openly and frequently
Partner with each business on priority and implementation plans
Develop metrics and tools to measure our progress, performance, and impact on customer satisfaction and sales
Recommend enhancements for employee idea campaign and our Innovation tools
Facilitate and/or manage the facilitation of Innovation training
Work with innovation and/or training consultants to execute education
Design training and continuous education on innovation topics for both exempt and non-exempt associates
Research, recommend, and share innovation articles and resources that will enhance our culture of innovation
Assist with training Leadership Education courses
Manage the planning, development and implementation of special projects as assigned
Skills Summary :
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have strong leadership skills and high degree of professionalism
Must have strong presentation, interpersonal skills
Familiarity with various training methods required
Must be analytical
Must be able to multi-task and work independently and must be flexible
