Summary: Responsible for all aspects of patient services for patients cared for in the General Surgery clinic in collaboration with the Medical leadership. Ensures the delivery of care is focused on the IOM Aims and the strategic priorities of Froedtert Hospital in accordance with all Froedtert Hospital policies and procedures. Maintains clinic specific standards of practice based on current literature and professional standards of practice. Demonstrates leadership consistent with Froedtert Hospital values. Collaborates with key process teams and service lines within Froedtert Hospital as well as with the Froedtert Health healthcare delivery system. Assists the Director in the development and direction of services rendered by the assigned clinics. May be delegated responsibilities in the absence of the Director.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Minimum three years demonstrated leadership experience required. Master’s degree may substitute for the overall requirement of Bachelor’s and three years leadership experience. Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a program at an accredited School of Nursing preferred.
Experience: Clinical education and experience in a applicable health care profession or education in Health Care Administration preferred. . Previous supervisory experience beneficial. Demonstrated leadership required.
Licensure: Current Wisconsin licensure as a Registered Nurse preferred.
