Manager, College Relations
Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.
The position of Manager, College Relations has responsibility for all recruiting and staffing initiatives geared towards universities and national student associations. This position oversees the coordination and delivery of multiple talent pipelines which include:
Intern and Co-op programs, Entry Level Hiring, and MBA recruiting
This position manages campus relationships with faculty, career centers and students for colleges and universities. The incumbent will also help formulate and deliver branding initiatives that will help differentiate the company on campus. This position also seeks to develop a pipeline of talent for critical skill and diversity recruitment initiatives.
Major Responsibilities include:
-Coordination and tracking of college recruiting activities and initiatives for all HS domestic facilities.
- Participation on UTC Recruiting Council and other sub teams.
- Develop, enhance and maintain standard work for recruiting, internships and related processes.
- Front line contact for all issues relating to campus recruiting.
- Work with HR Client Managers and Business Unit Leaders to determine recruiting strategies.
-Ensuring that appropriate marketing and advertising is coordinated and aligned with Hamilton Sundstrand and United Technologies' over-arching campus recruiting strategy and efforts.
- Manage centralized college recruiting budget.
- Partnering with Executives and HS employee network groups to provide development programs and HS information sessions
- Provide data and metrics for strategy reviews, and ad hoc requests.
- Act as site coordinator for the INROADS program for the HS Windsor Locks facility, and as National Coordinator for the overall domestic HS INROADS program.
