Overview:
We are currently seeking dynamic, self-motivated individuals who have a passion for cosmetics to work in one of Macy's most vibrant and exciting departments. Macy's IMPULSE is the shopping destination for the latest trends from contemporary brands, and IMPULSE Beauty Advisors personally assist customers in makeup and skin care selections for unique and cutting-edge color and treatment lines including Cargo, PTR, Too Faced, and Stila. While lines may vary by location, IMPULSE can also include Benefit, Dr. Brandt, Smashbox, Urban Decay and Strivectin.
Key Accountabilities:
Demonstrate effective Magic Selling Behaviors to meet or exceed sales, customer service and loyalty program standards
Teamwork oriented with the ability to work in a learning environment
Entrepreneurial with strong drive to develop and maintain your own clientele through in-person, telephone and letter contacts.
Ability to build and maintain strong vendor partnerships in order to maximize business results
Love of learning and sharing - learning about, understanding and communicating the features, advantages and benefits of your merchandise to build the sale
Proactive - ability to initiate service consultations by asking open-ended questions to learn the customers' preferences and buying/service needs
Strong sense of pride and responsibility for the making sure department is clean, neat and easy to shop
