Overview
Support and oversee all human resources activities within the Region. Act as both a business partner and functional expert who can provide employee relations, recruiting expertise, coaching and training on all issues related to the ""people"" aspects of the business. Create a culture that values retention, coaching, career development and succession planning.
Key Accountabilities:
Drive recruiting initiative for both exempt and nonexempt populations within region.
Prescreen and interview candidates and offering recommendations to hiring managers
Partner with Facility VP to develop seasonal and specific workforce hiring plans for hourly Associates
Proactively identify through sourcing of Taleo database and other 3 rd party job boards, talent for current/future openings, and hard-to-fill positions, while ensuring a diverse representation on all executive openings
Reconcile and manage candidates' recruitment process on Taleo, responding to them in a timely manner, while improving key performance Internet hiring measures outlined by Corporate Internet Recruiting Team
Train hiring managers on various interviewing techniques, including behavioral-based and experience/accomplishments assessments
Manage employee relations programs and activities for both exempt and nonexempt populations within region.
Conduct investigations
Proactively identify ER issues within locations and make recommendations for program enhancements
Coach and counsel supervisors to ensure leadership can manage performance issues within their teams
Lead the performance management process using Responsibility Based Performance program to address issues performance related issues, while continuing to educate managers the program's use and intent
Participate in grievances, arbitrations, contract preparation/negotiation and guide locations on when necessary
Communicate compensation and benefits related topics within locations
Create and manage HR processes that are pro-active and supportive of the business needs
