Responsibilities:

 



  • Lead sales efforts for engagement research.
  • Identify selling opportunities through client interactions and take action upon them.
  • Develop client proposals based on clients unique needs.
  • Act as engagement expert for client executives, other practices, and external organizations/clients.
  • Provide information by utilizing knowledge of Aon Hewitt databases.
  • Mentor/train and delegate work to less experienced associates.
  • Identify and document client and technical knowledge within and across the organization.
  • Understand complex research needed to perform quantitative and qualitative studies using various tools.
  • Provide insight on survey design when needed.
  • Engage in regular client contact by initiating and responding to client questions and demands.
  • Lead client scoping conversations.
  • Provide input and develop preliminary client budgets for review.
  • Contribute to profitability by looking for efficiencies in project work plans and managing and tracking time effectively.
  • Apply content knowledge and technical skills as defined by your role.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the business goals of firm and our clients
  • Create client deliverables including creating reports which involves interpreting and presenting results to clients.





  • Graduate degree in Business preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in a combination of project management, market research or Engagement, sales with at least 5 years in market research or Engagement.
  • Proven track record of selling research.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills including comfort presenting to Senior Level Executives.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills related to collaboration and team building.
  • Knowledge and experience with standard MS Office products as well as high familiarity with computers and popular applications.
  • Knowledge of data collection techniques and processes including Internet.
  • Drive for Results One of the characteristics of a successful consulting career is the ability and willingness to be flexible to meet the needs of clients when and where they need us.
  • During many of our busier months of the year, it is not unusual for associates to work more than 115% of total standard time (considerably more for our most experienced consultants) to meet client commitments, especially when travel is required.
  • Shows initiative to anticipate problems and take appropriate actions to avoid them.
  • Flexibility--adept at reordering priorities and activities to address ever-changing requirements.
  • Flexibility to travel (50%+).
