HRIS Analyst- Our client in Tampa is looking for an HRIS Analyst in the Tampa area.
Provides hands-on system and functional support for enterprise business system projects, including PeopleSoft HCM (HR/Payroll) and PeopleAdmin (Applicant Tracking). Supports core HR functions including HR, Base Benefits, Payroll and Training. Researches, analyzes, and implements solutions that utilize best/industry practices. Troubleshoots and analyzes delivered and/or modified functionality to determine if it meets functional needs.
Provides complex ad hoc reporting and data analysis from the HR\Payroll system, the applicant tracking system, and other related files and systems. May also be responsible for supporting a variety of file integration processes. Performs other routine duties related to the administration of these systems.
Works in collaboration with functional users and information technology areas to help find solutions to system problems and assist with systems upgrades. Analyzes and documents the functional business process and system requirements based on data analysis and interviews with users to define business needs and the related risks and constraints to consider.
Must be able to produce concrete deliverables that reflect industry standards and best practice, including detailed process analysis, business requirements and documentation of planned and complete solutions. Must also be able to dissect and analyze complex data in a variety of reporting tools.
Project coordinator on small to medium projects. Represents the HR division and wide project teams. May provide analysis and propose solutions to business problems outside of the HCM system.
Bus&Fin-Human Resources The HRIS Analyst will provide hands-on system and functional support for enterprise business system projects, including PeopleSoft HCM (HR/Payroll) and PeopleAdmin (Applicant Tracking). Troubleshoot and analyze delivered and/or modified functionality to determine if it meets functional needs.
Create ad-hoc reports in PeopleSoft Query specific to end users needs. Efficiently manage ad-hoc reporting process by report consolidation and standardization; make recommendations based on this analysis. Work in collaboration with functional users and various IT areas to maintain high degree of data integrity.
With knowledge of system setup; interdependencies and data flow track potential problems; work with HR team and technical resources to design, develop, test and implement resolutions. Responsible for supporting a variety of file integration processes. Monitor the HRIS policies and procedures by conducting audits of the entries in various business applications including query development, verifying data accuracy, providing comprehensive and high level data analysis including detailed process documentation, using a variety of reporting tools. Document HR procedures for all system updates, maintenance and customized functionality. Use flow charts, screen shots and step-by-step instructions to document procedures in an easily understood format. Strong experience in data analysis with multiple reporting tools for complex relational databases and major business systems. A bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience. Technical training, industry certifications and/or relevant, comparable experience may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required degree requirements on a year for year basis. Functional and technical experience supporting Peoplesoft HCM or other HRIS end-users, super-users and executive leadership. Project team experience and/or training. Experience with reporting in Oracle databases, PeopleSoft tools, Crystal Reports, MS Access are strongly preferred. Strong SQL reporting and analysis skills.
