Kelly IT Resources has a full time postion in King of Prussia, PA for a Software Engineer (Embedded). Please review the following and apply if this looks to be a good fit for you:
Summary: Designs and develops embedded software for electronic equipment and systems by performing the following duties:
Design software for embedded systems
Design software C language for microprocessors and microcontrollers; some Assembly language design possible
Design software in Visual Basic for programming and test interfaces for use in production/test departments
Analyze data sheets for microprocessors, microcontrollers, integrated circuits ICs, and electronic systems to determine how to interface devices via software
Test, troubleshoot and debug prototype systems hardware and software
Analyze test data and reports to determine if designs meet functional and performance specifications.
Perform software risk analysis to determine how to mitigate high risk issues in the software/system
Design and interface to Graphical User Interfaces GUIs for medical equipment.
Required education: Bachelor s degree B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Must have minimum 5 years experience.
Experience in medical field a plus.
Computer & Technical Skills:
Should be proficient in C Language.
Knowledge and experience with microcontrollers, Visual Basic, Assembly Language, and Graphical User Interface development a plus.
Should be familiar with operation of oscilloscope, multi-meter, programmers, debuggers.
Should be able to test, debug, and troubleshoot software and hardware problems/bugs.
Familiarity with schematics, basic electronics, communication protocols e.g. I2C, RS232 a plus.
