IS Clinical Training Analyst - AMG (3470) - (5550) Information Systems- AHS
Job Details: - Associates degree required - 1-2 years experience is required
Job Summary: This position is responsible for developing, testing, providing training materials and coordinate training programs for computer systems chosen by the organization. The position functions to support these functions across the entire organization including all AHS divisions, physician office staff, and other community agencies. Works with both I.S. Department staff and users in developing training design methods and coordinating training activities. Specifically coordinates all I.S. resources (both internal and external) to support high quality training activities. Assists in hardware/software selection, planning, and evaluation, making recommendations as required. Develops and delivers training which meets the needs of learners and the organization, incorporating adult learning principles and collaborating with learners, clinical leadership and I.S. staff. Responsible for all processes related to training delivery including needs analysis, curriculum development and design, competency writing and testing as well as evaluation for program improvement. Effectively interacts with key representatives from all areas of the organization as it relates to system training support for clinical applications. The IS Clinical Training Specialist assures that training content is clinic-based and patient-focused as well as customized to the learners needs.
Job Requirements: Education: Minimum of an Associate Degree in Health or Education or related field. Bachelors preferred. 2 years in a clinical setting AND the equivalent of 1 year full-time teaching/training. Previous training experience including curriculum development and design. High level of comfort/confidence with technology including Windows environment. High level of organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written skills (including grammar). High level of analytical/synthesis skills. High degree of patience, cooperativeness, initiative and flexibility. Ability to work independently using exceptional judgment. Ability and willingness to travel to multiple sites. Flexibility with work hours. English proficiency. Prefer ambulatory clinical experience. Prefer experience with competency-based training. Must be able to converse intelligently and interact effectively and solve any problems relating to the system. Must have a high degree of patience, cooperativeness, initiative, and exceptional judgement.
