The Connecticut Pratt & Whitney Industrial Relations (IR) Group is seeking candidates with focused interest in traditional IR setting. The successful candidate should posses the following characteristics:

-Concentrated interest in traditional IR
-Desire to investigate and resolve shop floor level IR issues
-Strong written and oral communication skills
-Ability to influence and establish/maintain relationships
In this role you will:
-Serve as a liaison between line supervision and the IR function.
-Manage IR issues and programs within a business unit.
-Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with the bargaining unit workforce, local management and union officials.
-Advise/counsel operations management in day-to-day contract administration and interpretation.
-Implement strategic IR initiatives.
-Research employee grievances and complaints and prepare Company position at various levels of the grievance procedure.
-Participate in manpower adjustment activities when required.
-Investigate employee relations issues as required.
